Connector Development

To automate user account management in the network, it’s important that the solution supports a wide range of systems and applications. By default, IAM has a large set of connectors to manage user accounts (authentication) and rights (authorizations) in systems and applications. Alongside the standard connectors, IAM has the ability to connect generically based on CSV, ODBC, text files, SOAP/XML, web services, etc.
We have a team which is involved in connector development and integration of various IAM solutions since a decade now. Connectors, which are the most critical components for the success of any IAM solution are developed by our in-house integration experts with the fastest turnaround time in the market and in the most cost effective way. Connectors are the middle tier software modules that assists communication between target applications hosted on heterogeneous environment and the underlying IAM solution implemented in the organization.
IAM systems are evolving to handle the challenges of access and authentication to online services, offering federated single sign-on for all applications a user needs to access, automated provisioning and deprovisioning of access rights, strong authentication and self-service tools for aiding productivity. Such systems cater to the needs of organisations that are increasingly providing mobile device users, including those owned by the users themselves, with access to online applications and services. Newer developments include the provision of a hybrid model, whereby an identity bridge connects online application access to backend corporate directories, IAM technologies and other systems of record, providing access to enterprise applications for remote users, as well as potentially to partners and customers.
